APJCC Camps are a great way for kids to let loose, meet new friends, enjoy new and exciting experiences, swim, go on cool field trips, see amazing shows, and have fun!
We offer a variety of camp programs from traditional day camp to specialty camps. In addition to summer camp, we offer camps during winter breaks (December and February) and spring break.
We are committed to making it possible for as many children as possible to attend camp. We offer an inclusion program for children with special needs. And for families with financial need, we offer a summer camp scholarship program through the Jewish Federation of Silicon Valley.

Our Mission Statement
The APJCC camps provide a safe and sensitive environment for children to grow through activities and educational exercises that foster personal and creative growth as well as friendship building. Our camps promote and educate campers about Jewish values through respect, Shabbat and Jewish educational experiences that teach children how to interact in a group while simultaneously building their confidence as individuals. Our camps sustain a supportive and nurturing environment created by staff that are qualified, mature and compassionate.
American Camp Association (ACA) Accreditation
Camp Shalom is happy to announce that we are an American Camp Association accredited camp. ACA accreditation assures parents that the camp has had a regular, independent safety audit that goes beyond regulations in most states. ACA accreditation means that the Camp Shalom cares enough to undergo a thorough (over 300 health and safety standards) review of its operation — from staff qualifications and training to emergency management.
No accreditation process, no licensing program, no set of regulations or laws can guarantee safety. However, accreditation is the best evidence for parents that our camp is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for their children.
