Center for Jewish Life & Learning

The Center for Jewish Life & Learning helps members of the Jewish community find ways to enhance their lives through the Jewish tradition. We are very excited about this year's programming! The Center for Jewish Life & Learning is supported by grants from the Koret Foundation and from the Taube Foundation for Jewish Life and Culture of the Jewish Community Endowment Fund.

Kabbalat Shabbat Lunches for adults ages 55+
Every other Friday (1/11, 1/25, 2/8, 2/22, 3/7, 3/21, 4/4, 5/2, 5/16, 6/6), noon-1:30pm, Mem $5, NonMem $6

MELTON ADULT MINI-SCHOOL  

If you're an adult seeking in-depth Jewish learning, try the Melton Adult Mini-School at the JCC. This two-year program meets 2 hours per week. The Melton Adult Mini-School is a project of Jerusalem's Hebrew University.

NEW! SILICON VALLEY BEIT MIDRASH 

Are you interested in small-group study of major Jewish texts and topics? If so, try the Silicon Valley Beit Midrash. It meets every Thursday from 9:00am-11:45am and it's FREE. No previous Jewish study experience is required. The Silicon Valley Beit Midrash is presented by the APJCC Center for Jewish Life & Learning and South Bay synagogues. Currently the program meets at Congregation Sinai in San Jose. For more information, contact the APJCC Center for Jewish Life & Learning.
