Tikkun Olam Projects at the JCC
"Tikkun Olam" is a Hebrew phrase that means "repairing the world."
The words Tikkun Olam have always been understood as expressing the basic idea that people are needed to behave in certain ways to perfect creation. We are partners with God in building a better world. This is a the core of Judaism. When we realize what can be but has yet to become, when we see that which is broke and understand how to fix it, we realize our highest potential, partners in creation with God. Through protecting the planet, feeding the hungry, fighting for the oppressed, or comforting the needy, we are our best selves.
Renew your commitment to our community by getting involved a social action projects. The JCC community invites you to join us in making the world a better place.

The APJCC Preschool is collecting items to be distributed FREE directly to local community members by Sacred Heart Community Service.
