Low Carb or High Carb? Low-Fat or Non-Fat? Whole Wheat or Whole Grain? Healthy eating doesn’t have to be confusing! Meet with our Registered Dietitian and sort through the facts, fiction, and latest diet trends to develop a healthy eating plan that is easy to follow.

The JCC’s Nutrition Department offers one-on-one consulting, buddy consulting, group classes, family activities, and holiday workshops. Our Registered Dietitian can help you set realistic goals and make lifestyle changes, whether your goals are related to weight, athletic performance, medical concerns, food allergies, or general wellness. You will receive non-judgmental, personalized counseling, helpful handouts, meal suggestions, and practical advice for how to make healthy eating fit into your everyday life.

Nutrition for Change

Optimize your health and fitness with strategic eating. Sharon Robinson, a certified fitness nutrition specialist and certified personal trainer, shows you step by step how to make changes that will make a fundamental difference for you and your family. Whether your goal is to lose body fat, fight fatigue, improve your health, increase muscle, or maximize your metabolism, this class is full of important information to put you on the right path to achieving it. Leah Frankel, MS, RD, holds a Masters of Science in Nutritional Science and Bachelors of Science in Biology. She brings to the APJCC several years of experience as a Registered Dietitian working in various settings including hospitals, the community, as a columnist, online nutrition instructor, and in skilled nursing facilities.
