Health & Fitness Orientation (HFO)
Get healthy at the APJCC!
Every APJCC Fitness Center Member can receive a complimentary fitness orientation (valued at $60) with a qualified Certified Personal Trainer. You and your trainer will discuss your exercise history, health history and fitness goals to design the best program for you personally.
During this complimentary session, you’ll also receive a physical assessment to determine which exercises are the right ones, and the wrong ones, for you specifically. HFOs are available to Fitness Center Members ages 13+ and those who have completed the Youth Fitness Program.
Improve your posture, become a stronger athlete, improve your sport performance or increase your metabolism. A qualified Certified Personal Trainer will develop an individualized exercise program to fit your needs in a supportive, motivational environment. We offer one-to-one personal training, “buddy” personal training where you share the cost of a trainer with a friend, and small group training with 3-5 participants.

A Fitness Professional has a nationally recognized personal training certificate, is pursuing a degree in a related field or a 2 or 4 year certificate from an accredited university or personal training experience. CPR/AED certified.
A 'Specialized' Fitness Professional has the qualifications of a Fitness Professional as well as an advanced or specialized national certification.
A Master Fitness Professional has met all the requirements of a Specialized Fitness Professional, has 4 years experience, and holds 2 advanced national certifications.
