Programs and Events for Teens

Teen Philanthropy Board (grades 8-12)
The Jewish Teen Philanthropy Board gives teens the opportunity to decide how to allocate funds to local Jewish organizations, while learning about grant making and earning community service hours for school. Teens will collectively develop an area of interest for grant-making and run their own foundation, soliciting grant applications from local Jewish organizations, making grants, meeting with grantees to assess progress, and more. Meeting dates will be based on the availability of the participants. To apply for the 2014-15 school year, contact Jason Goldstein at jason@svjcc.org or 408.357.7497.
